Deja vu Estate Sellers, we feel, we are more than your average estate sale company. Over the years, we have handled every size of estate – and customize every sale to our client’s individual needs. We are committed to maintaining the highest integrity when conducting your sale, which makes us the best choice in estate sale services.

Staging

We come in to clean, organize, arrange and display all items to be included in the sale. We will utilize any available shelving, tables and display areas along with any additional tables, shelving systems and display cases when necessary to properly showcase your items to maximize sales.

Pricing

Deja vu Estate Sellers will assess, evaluate and research all items to be sold to determine the ideal pricing for your items.  We welcome client’s input/knowledge with regard to pieces in your estate.

Advertising

“Advertising Brings Customers” We will arrange for the level of advertising appropriate for your specific sale. Using a variety of communications vehicles such as social media, email, regional and/or national estate sale websites, Facebook, craigslist when necessary. In addition, we promote your sale on our own Deja vu Estates Sales website, and direct to our mailing list of subscribers. Lastly, if permitted by local ordinances, we will put directional signage in the area – helping to guide customers to the sale.

Conduct of Sale

We are committed to conducting your sale in the most efficient and professional manner with the goal being selling every item for the highest possible amount. Throughout the course of a sale, we may negotiate prices or accept bids in effort to achieve this objective. You may place a minimum acceptable reserve price for a small handful of special items.

Taxes

As a registered business within the State of Arizona, we collect all required sales tax and handle payments to the State Comptroller for you – one less thing for you to worry about!

Security

We take appropriate measures to have ample Staffing onsite during your sale to guard against theft or damage. Uniformed, our staff is easy to identify not only to help customers but also “thwart off bad apples.” If requested (or required) we may also hire off-duty Dallas police officers or independent security professionals for your sale, is at the client’s expense.

Unsold Goods

Though we pride ourselves on the amount of an Estate’s items we are able to liquidate there are typically some items left at the end of each sale. Ultimately all items do belong to you to decide with what to do, but, we can assist with facilitating with a donation/charity aspect or a buyout option depending on quantity or quality of the items that are remaining. Sale Preparation

What you could do to prepare for your Estate Sale:

Although we provide all the supplies and staffing you might need, there are still some steps you can take to make your sale a success:

Take inventory or identify

We recommend taking an inventory or identifying (with color tape or post-it) all of the items for sale. Once we know what you’ll be putting in the estate sale, we can then determine the size of sale. We will also be able to categorize the items for better marketability. It’s important for us to see the inventory so that we can appraise higher value pieces for appropriate pricing.

Consider all the possibilities

We suggest sorting & cleaning out the closets, attic, and basement, because there are often valuable belongings that have been forgotten about.

We will price your items after categorizing and researching them for a reasonable price or what is considered fair market resale value. We will work to get you the highest price while still offering shoppers a good deal. Deja vu estate sale will work hard to create an enticing, profitable and easy to navigate estate sale.

Never discard ANYTHING! Unless it’s really trash, someone can use it! Prior to our arrival to begin staging please remove anything not for sale. We commit to your sale based on the contents represented to us during your initial consultation..

We provide EVERYTHING! Supplies, staffing and advertising are all covered in our commission. Don’t worry about a thing!

 Although you are welcome to attend your sale, we strongly discourage it. It can be too emotional for family members to witness firsthand. Plan a fun activity for the day instead!

We will communicate with you daily during your sale. Upon conclusion within 15 business days, you will receive a complete inventory list of everything that was sold, a closing statement along with a check, less our fees and expenses.
